"The Many Faces of Breast Cancer"
Update: 2015-04-27
Description
Join me today as we talk to Paulla Miller and Jan James in the 2nd part of our 4 part series on breast cancer. Jan James is a breast cancer survivor and founder of the Provision Project, a non-profit organization with the mission to provide financial relief to women in active treatment for breast cancer.
Soon after Jan was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2012, she founded a private online breast cancer support group which now numbers almost 600 women in nine countries. Through that support group, Jan and her leadership team have become intimately aware of the ways in which breast cancer can impact a woman's life, physically, mentally, emotionally, socially, and financially. The Provision Project wants to help women who face tough financial decisions as they are actively being treated for breast cancer. I know you will be inspired, educated, and moved as you hear about these courageous women, and the overcoming spirit they continue to express, and live out!
